Another great and forgotten German band. Tibet makes a heavier symphonic sound with well-crafted and very creative melodies.
Instruments like Hammond and Mellotron have a chilling highlight. Two essential instrumental tracks are worth this pearl, "White Ships And Icebergs" and "Eagles." These two tracks remind me clearly of Eloy's great good times and also the German Minotauros, an excellent band that I owe a post here.
The vocals in English also present a lot of quality and transmit an extra energy to the disc. A pity certain German bands have not gained so much prominence at the time and to be discovered only these days.
These oneshot bands from Germany in the 1970s had a long and frustrating career, badly recorded their records in small studios and played at festivals of the time. Producers were not interested in these bands, which nowadays are very rare and quite panned by the true lovers and researchers of the German prog.
